Hey all
I've been in need for some advice for a new forehand rubber. I chop/counter mid distance and sometimes attack a 3rd ball. I'd prefer something a little bit softer than rakza7. I lean towards xiom vega japan or evolution el-p. I also considered the bluefire series but I'm not too sure. I heard spinlord marder 2 was also a good rubber for this style of play but not many reviews of it. Please help me with choosing, I'm quite new to equipment. Thanks in advance :). Oh and I use the defplay senso blade

T64 1.9 is so good on Defplay for both chop n'attack. For me (my muscular memory/ conditioning) T64 is the best.

Unfortunately can't afford tenergy, it's relatively expensive here. I was especially looking for an evolution rubber as they're almost 40% cheaper than tenergies and according to people they play similarly.

i like xiom omega v pro, I haven't used a ton to compare it with however. I can say I have gotten marder 2 and it wasn't great and died quickly. It is cheaper though, but xiom omega v pro was worth it. Ive been using it for some months and still good :D
xiom vega japan and evolution el-p both sound really good. Also bluefire series I have a friend who uses it.

You cant really go wrong with any of those I think

I hit some with evolution rubbers like el-p , fx-s and mx-s and liked mx-s so much. Feels a bit slower than T64. Then I read about mx-s and it was softer topsheet on hard sponge, anyway felt soo good. Very nice and powerful topspins from distance with great ''control'' and producing a lot of spin easily...now I have a one unopened red 2.1 mx-s as a spare of my getting old T64 on Joo Se Hyuk blade.
....otherwise going chinese like H3 neo or skyline 2 is an alternative way...

Thanks for your replies. I'll decide between the omega v and the mx-s.
Cheers
