I'd like to know too since I'm interested in playing in his style.

If it didn't says "short pimple" in the second video's thumbnail I wouldn't have guessed... There's nothing really remarkable about how he plays, though he doesn't retreat much from the table. Sort of like Harimoto with a much less amazing backhand...

Sorry to dig out this thread, but I stumbled across this video:

https://fb.watch/hDMic5mN6s/

As far as I understand, he plays with Tibhar Ikarus Blade, Grwo Nexus Pro on FH and Friendship 799 on backhand.

Is there any member who speaks French to confirm this?

What he does with little footwork is absolutely great, very nice games to watch.

Yes you correctly understood what he said about his equipment.

He also said that it's quite rare nowadays to meet players using short pips at his level, he thinks that it's rather sub optimal since plastic ball and would not recommend it to new players.

Thank you for your help.

Actually interesting that he thinks P Ball isn't good for short pips. In my leagues I never blocked that good with celluloid. But there are other challenges with sp and P Ball.
