I wanted to order some new Big Dippers, but red was out of stock. So I had to buy a whole new bat! Yes, that makes sense. Perfect logic.

I just ordered a Xiom Feel ZX1 with Stiga Mantra H rubbers. Thoughts?

I've read that the ZX1 plays like a faster WSC, decent flex and good for looping. I had a few different blades on the shortlist: BT777, P700, P900, Force Arc. I feel that the BT handles are a bit small, the P700 head size is a bit big, the force arc may be a bit too fast with faster rubbers and the P900.. Well.. Maybe I'll still try that out sometime in the future. Along with the P700.. And maybe the Fo.. NO! Must.. restrain..self.. or wife will kill me..

I also liked the look of the Goiabao and 301, but I thought they may be a bit too hard with Mantra H. I would love to get away with a 5-ply like the P500, but I think it will require too much effort to play with as it's quite slow for the modern game. Also, how awesome does the new Yinhe 970XX Fang Huang look? Yeah I saw that in the shop too. Lots of goodies around.

The Mantras are supposed to be quite spinny, highish throw (one review says low, the others say high and compare it to mx-p). The pores look much smaller than ESN rubber sponges.

Big Dipper? Red? 38, 39 or 40?? Take your pick...
