I've been playing with the AK-47 Blue (since around 6 months or so), on a Defplay Senso V3 .... I really like this rubber, and find it quite versatile... and yes, it is quite light, and non-tacky...

Donic Coppa is less than twice the price of that pf4, $31.50 AUD is a low cost rubber.
I don't think many people would choose pf4 in that case, so I'm not really sure why you bring it up since you clearly know that china is a better outlet for chinese rubber than india. Are you just disecting my post?

India? (TT11 is in one of the Baltic states - Lithuania or Estonia or Latvia, can't remember which..)

Well, nothing wrong with PF4. There are dozens of similar Chinese rubbers, they all work more or less the same. Since you were having trouble with finding any on tabletennis11, and I was sure I'd seen some before, I went and looked. Coppa.. don't know much about it other than it's along the same lines as Sriver, Mark V and Mendo. It's probably OK, but so would be PF4 and G888. Rubbers are far more alike than they are different.

Incidentally.. just browsing AliExpress and came across this:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/BOER-7- ... 80727.html

Naw… Really?

Once you read the instructions, though - no carbon and no arylate, all wood, but those face plies are supposedly zebrawood. For a little over six bucks including shipping.. heck, maybe I'll get one anyway.

The blade looks quite nice... Upon practicing my Google-Fu, I learnt that Zebrawood aka Zebrano is a hard, coarse-grained wood...

Here's another one by BOER ... Called the X5, this one retails for $15.20....

This too, supposedly has Arylate Carbon layers, which I could not see...

I guess, BOER specializes in manufacturing Arylate Carbon blades, where the carbon layer is completely missing..

I couldn't help, but think to myself .... How would a ZEBRAwood blade fair against a LION blade...

No worries. Just use Killer or Viper rubbers.

Is there a rubber called Mouse? Oh wait.. that's elephants that's scared of them..

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if that "zebrawood" turned out to be silk screened.

as i discover that all allwood bats are basically the same I have become more interested in craftmanship.
so i have found nittaku osp, re-impact, Dr Neu? nexy
what are some manufacturers to look out for that do fine work?
Any that are affordably priced?
5 or 7 ply are both fine.

Stiga has, and continues to make some good all-wood blades....

errr... I'd beg to differ .... For example - A single-ply Kiso Hinoki, may play quite differently, compared to a 5-7 ply all-wood blade ... Even, just in terms of aesthetics, there're differences, between all-wood blades... A Stiga Rosewood blade, for example, would look and play quite differently, compared to the one you've shown above....

haha that's rather picky imo.
i totally agree on those two, tho i dont know anyone that has bought and played with a rosewood.
besides those two extremes the rest are basically variances of small degrees.
if they all had mark v rubbers they would play fairly predictably

no..no... I base this, not just on my personal experience(s), but on the fact that there're many different types of wood being used for plys, and the fact that different woods have different properties... Ofcourse, some wood-types will have similar properties...

Check this OOAK thread, to get a more granular perspective...

Yeah, that's true.
If you are my mate and I ask if you want pizza you sat yes, coz you know it all tastes the same, you don't ask what flavour before saying you'll have some haha
Just so you know all being the same still requires a difficult choice with either blades or pizza
I bought a Stiga All-round with Mark V, top community of peeps, cheers.
