Greetings! Following extensive research, I've made up my mind to give a Hinoki single ply blade with an 8 mm thickness a shot. My playstyle leans towards offensive tactics, relying on spin and a considerable amount of speed. I've come across suggestions that using hard rubber on such a blade might be beneficial, but I'm unsure about the specifics of what constitutes "hard rubber" and which type would be best suited. If anyone has experience with these blades, could you kindly recommend some rubber options? I'm accustomed to playing with Tenergy on balsa blades, but I'm skeptical about whether Tenergy rubber is hard enough for this setup.

Tenergy 05 works very nicely on 1-ply blades. I know several jpen players that use this on their 1ply blade.

For hard rubber, it generally means higher durometer rubber for added firmness. I found success with Butterfly Dignics 09C or Xiom Omega VII Pro, they align well with the blade's aggressive nature. While Tenergy is great, it might not be ideal as it's slightly softer. Exploring harder rubbers could likely enhance your power and speed, ultimately enhancing your game.

Giant Dragon mnfc. You сan get 45 Shore А sponge on direct request, right from factory store. It is the most springy tensor on chinese market similar to dignics. Written invoice is needed. Minimum order a pack of 12 pcs.

Be happy.
