Hello,

I hope everybody is having a pleasant day. I had a question about these 2 blades. I know tons of people who have played with h301 and say it is linear, near all wood, and has almost no shortcomings. However I haven't met any who have played with hking 3. I believe the only difference is in the type of composite fiber that is used, but could someone provide a comprehensive comparison of these 2 blades? Is hking 3 similar to long 5? Is it head heavy or balanced? Is it a well suited blade for backhand? I know one of my rubbers will be a blue sponge h3 neo, but the other I have no idea. Maybe H3 neo orange sponge provincial?

P.S if you like to provide some info about nittaku septear, more than appreciated, but the focus is the comparison of these 2 guys.

Thank you in advance for your responses ;)

Hi, 301 has some sort of arylate-carbon like Bo Carbon and King3 -glasscarbon.
I have PG12 that is in fact a cheaper King3.
Pg12 has more catapult than H301 and Bo Carbon and in my opinion a softer feel.

I actually have a Septear. I bought several (expensive) Hinoki blades some years back on the premise that I was missing something by playing with the Yinhe N11 (a cheap blade). I ended up playing with an even cheaper blade (the Sanwei M8.. ). I suppose I should dig out those old blades and give them another shot - I've got three Yinhe H7s (too heavy, as I recall.. and close to unobtainium - had to special order the first one and found two more at a shop in Bandung), a Septear (can't remember much about it) and a Darker 2p-somethingoranother. All 7 ply hinoki, the Darker and Septear were actually within my weight range (the Darker was actually VERY light).
