Okay, I've now ran out of speed glue, since my usual supplier has gone out of business. I have plenty of non speed glue, and a sheet of Globe 999 Nat on the way. I figured since I'll have to start playing with regular glue sometime fairly soon, I might as well get used to it now and have a leg up on the competition. I want to somehow prime it so it will play better, but I'm not sure if there's any sort of procedure that works with non speed glue. Any tips?

Err, you can probably get away with using speedglue alternatives like EEII, or use the speedglue solvents with an additional layer of the normal glue so that it would mimic the extra layers of speed glue... :)

...if you don't mind using homemade speed glue, that is.
