I have a tibhar samsonov alpha blade and till now i have played with these rubbers;
forehand backhand
rapid dtechs torpedo soft
rapid rapid
rapid sriver l

now i decided to try chinese rubbers as they are said to be more dureable and spinnier, but i don't want less speed.

my game is off and off+ mostly consisting of attack from near the table and mid distance.

any help??

You dont have to sacrifice speed in your game, but possibly you'll have to slightly change the way you hit to produce equal speed.

My rubbers are 9 years old. They won’t be there long.

Chinese rubbers will not automatically give you more spin. Yes, they are stickier, but how a rubber gives you spin depends on your game & stroke style.

I get way more spin from Tango than I could generate using non speed glued Geospin Tacky. (ie at least 200-300%)

On the other hand, a good Chinese rubber might out last 2-3 sheets of Tango (or other similar tensor), and probably cost half as much.

Also, Torpedo Soft isn't a DTecS rubber IIRC.
