I'm quite sure it's a Feint Long 3 (or Curl P1-R) with 1.0 sponge and a T64 because 05 is too sensitive to spin.

But no guarantee.

He's into the semis of u-21 at the pro tour grand finals. Two of his group matches can be seen on the ittf player.

Nah, but he looked really bad against the Ukrainian guy Zhmudenko ;) (Sorry, I am an arse today  )

Actually, he was picked apart by Zhmudenko moreso than his own game not working. Well, with the exception of the last set when all fell apart for Filus.

Zhmudenko did everything right. He moved Filus in and out and sideways and at no point in the match did I see him play more than three similar shots in a row. And that happened twice. The rest of the match was a lesson in excellent tactical variation, IMHO. No wonder Filus had problems, he had very little to work with, but a lot to handle :)

i've noticed he seems to regularly do the sidespin chop. It floats very high.

will need to get it a bit lower to creep further into the top 50.

His semifinal match is up, it's over an hour long so have the popcorn ready. He'll play zhmudenko again in the final.

You can also watch a quick match between joo and chen weixing.
