WE'll be getting in some TSP Milli-Tall -2 in shortly... they sound quite similar. I wonder how close they will be...

Pimple Mini One, is Pimple Mini in OX, not a different product. I've not ever heard of TSP Milli-Tall. Sounds interesting.

Is it? I got it with a sponge... What makes you think it's a hard bat rubber?

I got Miilital without sponge once by accident. It does look a lot like Pimplemini. It's not just a hardbat rubber. I'll be interested to see what price you can offer on TSP as the U.S. distributor's prices are high.

I played some more with the Pimple Mini today, and the more I played the more I liked it. It's characteristics are just so unique.

I'm amazed by it's low sensitivity to incoming spin, yet when you dig the ball into the pips at an angle it can generate inverted type spin. Not only were chops heavy, but I could even reloop topspin against the robot. I can't get this much spin with standard short pips.

Add the ability to hit though spin (remember it produces no-spin balls from blocks- so hitting through spinny loops is fairly easy), and perform aggressive flips, and I can't wait to rebuild my game.

I'll edit the first review, or post a much better one after I've played with it for a few weeks or so.

Just dropped it into google and  ... then again the hard bat guys had a point when I think about the long pip ban.

Just slinging mud really... :)

Shoebox I'll forward you a sheet of Frustration for comparison as promised.

I'm still reluctant about the size of the pips but I can't really not try it now.

Just had a chat with an old buddy of mine who said he use to use pimplemini on his backhand, but he ultimately gave it up in favor of long pips with more spin reversal. He said if he was 20 years younger he would keep it on because it can produce a good range of spins and still mantain some long pip type control. Unfortunately he didn't have his old sheet anymore

The spin varation is fairly small, and this pip is extremely slow for hitting. It's slow light-topspin balls are a loopers dream.

For chopping it's like inverted, only easier to chop with, or perhaps it could be used for hitting on a really fast carbon blade.

never used it myself but played against it many times and I would say if you are a chopper as well as someone who likes to attack on the BH then it's a great rubber,If you require spin reversal then don't bother buying it.
It has all the characteristics a good attacking SP has with the ability to chop like LP as well as less sensitive to incoming spin than SP.
It creates mad mad spin on chops
