MNNB, thanks for that last series of videos, with Huth vs. Filus! That was just classic. Talk about some great shots, and awesome usage of both pips and anti! I'm going to watch those videos many times. Your ability to get these videos is much appreciated!

As a matter of fact, almost all of his games are entertaining to watch and in addition to epic points, offer many opportunities to watch both strong defensive and offensive strokes in the same point.

is it me or does Ruwen look in better shape in his "younger" days? even his chops seemed better in the past and also his forehand loops, now he seems to mostly fish with his forehand.

hes 21....there really is no younger days....he never had a chop on his forehand that he does often...he fishes to provide an opportunity for a counter loop, i think its because he is playing higher level opponents now

yes, i know he is young, i was referring to the first videos of him, his backhand chops seemed to have more consistency, more confident. and on the forehand he also looped more, but i think you are right, might be because of higher play level now

His game seems to have developed since I last saw him play, he's twiddling and hitting quite effectively with his BH now; on occasions. I think he needs a bit more penetration with his FH to really take his game further.

yes he does seem to cover the majority of the court with his back hand and when a wide one does come to his forehand he may not be as prepared for it...
