Apologize my English. There is no board about penholder in France.
Many thanks to brabhamista for the penhold shortpips videos 8)

I found my rubber, it's the 799 tackspeed. I feel good with it but my blade is a shakehand BTY Grubba all+. The grip is not as good as a real c-pen.
So i'm looking for a similar blade in c-pen.
Not faster cause i need good controle for pushing.
Does yasaka extra or stiga offensive clasic could match ? (my game is hitting and blocking)

Next step i will learn reverse backhand because my legs are getting older....so the blade must be light.

Thanks in advance.
Regards.

Welcome to the forum stem!

I guess you would not find many penholders in France!

I can't answer your questions, but hopefully some of the others can help.

The two ALL+ CPen blades I like are:
-Stiga Allround NCT (Stiga has some good, thin, light weight CPen blades suitable for reverse BH)
-Yasaka Extra (Gatien, a great French TT player and world champion, helped design it)
I don't have much experience with tacky rubbers so I can't comment on that.
Go to a local TT club. You'd never know. There may be some good Chinese CPen players there.
Welcome to the forum! :)

Another reminder (I hope other forum members can tolerate reading this over and over) :
The same type of blade from the same manufacturer has production tolerance in weight, it can be more than 10 grams difference, so ask for the available weights before you buy. If you still consider it too heavy, then you can weight a while until a lighter one comes up. Some online store can provide this kind of information.

Thank you for answers.
I began TT with the Stiga all clasic, a great blade for beginers in my opinion but too soft now for my game and a bit slow.
Think i will buy the NCT one and ask to the salesman to get the ligtest he have.
Next i will post some comments about the blade.

Finaly i bought a Yasaka Extra because that was the only one aviable in france and i asked for the lightest .Maybe they just had one in stock :))
It weight 82g,the grip is good and confortable.
I'm very happy with it,nothing goes wrong: receving serves, pushing is easy and the blade is stiff enough for blocking and hitting at the level i play.
Can't tell about reverse backhand,i just start that way with a LKT xp and i'm not sure to continue since i looked Zhuang Zedong again and again.
I have find my weapon for 2010/2011.
Thanks for the advice.
