just a quick survey on what kind of rubber you use for your backhand side..

to start off

i use either mendo MP or Neos Sound, which a both soft non tacky rubbers .

reason for this is not my own knowing i was told by my coach/friend to never put the likes of Hurricane 3 on the BH he didnt explain why, just said its not going to work well,

so in short hard rubbers are a no no on the Bh

My main weapon for RPB is LKT Pro XP, which is soft mildly-tacky rubber.

But I used Globe 999 Nat(hard and tacky) before that and I tried it again recently and it produced spinnier loops than Pro XP? :|

I think you can use hard rubber for RPB, what you need to do is more brushing and less hitting.

true but its quite hard to brush the ball consistently with rpb as its a very complex stroke, by playing with a softer rubber you are allowing for a greater margin of error, thus producing greater amounts of successful shots

Grass DTecs OX RED. And yes, I can loop with this lp though still learning as I am not consistent enough. But each time I looped it over, the ball usually don't come back. Naturally, I also chop or block it back.

I wouldn't say softer rubber will necessarily allow a greater margin of error. I often up hit the ball too much when I loop with a soft rubber and it bottoms out :@

I am now using Focus III snipe. It has good control but not overly fast or powerful. It is good for close to the table play.
It plays like a... say Sriver G2 FX.

I've only used Focus 3 snipe for maybe 10 minutes but it wasn't anything like G2FX imo...
