Speedplay,

Thanks for the advice I will get a sheet of super anti and give it a try.

If you need a sheet, I got 1 in 1.5mm red, also a black gorilla in .5mm. Already cut.

Thanks Monkey, I might give the a try. I will let you know next time I come down.

Okay, whenever you need it Bv, I also gotta sheet of neo anti 1.5mm. If you wanna try it now I can send it out to you?

Hi MNNB,
I would like to ask from you. Do you have additional experiment and practice with the new 0.6 Gorilla? It would be nice to hear that.
I am playing with ABS on Aurora. I can absolutely confirm your comparison of antis regarding to ABS. It is very slow, and maybe this rubber compares the best way to frictionless ones but it has not disruption effect (or maybe reversal)enough, therefore strong loopers can end the point fast.

As your opinion would it be worth to change my ABS to 0.6 Gorilla? You mentioned the Gorilla is slightly faster. It is not too good news for me but if my opponents could not continue the attacking because of effect of reversal or disruption, this would be nice.
Thank you in advance
Pal

I would like to propose introducing the Joola Timeless (TL) into this ranking:

Speed: 3
It is by far the slowest slick anti in the market

Control: 12
The control scale has been designed for then-available slick antis. IMHO the TL exceeds this framework.

Disruption: 6.5
Its spin retention is about the same as with Neubauer AS or ABS, but it is easier to disturb opponent action by unexpected counters, or by exact, esp. short(!) placing. Services are more dangerous and some wobbling is possible. Thus, I place it a little above the former rubbers.

Update of the ranking of Joola TL:
Disruption: 7.5
I ran a direct comparison to Joola Amy on the same blade and found spin retention equal. Since it is easier to disturb opponent action (s. above), I tend to rank the TL somewhat above the former.
However, if you regularly attack with your anti, you may find that Amy owes ranking better than TL; for me, Amy is the best slick anti I know for attacking.

Which anti slower and which slippery or slick?

1/ Dr Neubauer ANTI SPECIAL 1,8mm
2/ Dr Neubauer Gorilla dampening sponge 1,8mm
3/ Nightmare 1.8mm

I know that the Joola Timless now is the best but the quality and the durability very bad.

You find the particular values for all the requested rubbers at the beginning of this post.

MNNB, I read quite a bit about Juic Neoanti, but most posts are somewhat old and do not compare to the most prominent slick antis currently marketed. Do you know this one? Would you consider it a slick anti? How would you range it in your rankings?

Hi Slick. Juic NeoAnti is similar to Yasaka AntiPower. No meaningful spin reversal, if any.

Except that the Neo Anti has a very soft sponge, whereas the Anti Power is quite firm. Neo Anti allows you to generate some spin as the topsheet is softer and can grip the ball when you dig it in.
