Has anyone tried Hexer+ Pips?

They are available in 2 pip geometry's. 0 degrees and 90 degrees layout of the pips.

0 degrees is supposed to have greater control while 90 degrees has greater attack.

I'm not much a SP user, but this sounds interesting given I lover Hexer+ Inverted.

Yeah, I am curious about this as well.

I considered getting it, but I felt (and still feel) that I wasn't ready for short pips.

I may actually get hexer pips+ on my next setup (would be a custom blade from Ross with the soon-to-be-released Vega China on the forehand).

But I would love to hear about it. It's a fourth generation tensor rubber, what generation is regular hexer+?

Okay, just wasn't sure.

So, is Hexer Pips+ exactly the same as hexer+, just with a reversed topsheet?

SOme review from a TT magazine:

There are 2 types: Hexer Pips and Hexer Pips+

Speed: Hexer Pips 0 degree > Hexer Pips+ 0 degree > Hexer Pips 90 degree> Hexer Pips+ 90 degree

Spin: HP+ 90 > HP+ 0> HP 90 > HP 0

Recommendation: For offensive player, choose HP 0. If you use a stiff blade, try HP+ 0. For control and spin game, use HP+ 90.

It's a Hexer family, so it is very possibly a spinny pip.

Yeah, I do believe so.

There should be instructions on the packaging, since that feature isn't on every rubber sheet.

Yes..

The label and ittf logo are printed on 2 side, eg. "L". So just turn the sheet 90 degree.

Thanks antiq! I had the impression they were 2 different sheets you could order. Its good that they do it in a way you order a sheet and then decide which way you want to apply it!

got mine today, strangely enough, there's no instructions or anything that explains what turning 90 degrees would do w/ how it plays...

For those that have seen the sheet, once you cut the sheet and glue it on, is it possible to identify (from the label) which orientation the rubber is in?
