Nice choice in style:) I noticed he didn't really attack much with the pips at all. In fact he didn't. That is probably a good idea. Though with the talon it's really easy to attack so mixing it up at our level is probably not a bad thing.

Looks like our training sessions are going to be filled with a lot more chopping and counter looping off of the opening loop/flip. Looking forward to it Bob.

I thought the style as we talked about, would suit me better, as I already can chop off table
and looping and FH chopping is where I would like to throw my game into. I also would like to follow-up with some training ideas off that web site. *ie (TEDDY) at the club when we can.
I am finding that chopping with giant long on the slower blade is good. But chopping with the Talon on the faster blade does work very well indeed. The Talon is less effected by side spin
and noticed Giant long did have some drift off center and the directional throw was better and more consistant with the Talon. ALso the feel from the ox I like better because I can pick up the ball./ blade feedback even using the Kris blade *(timmed). I would like to get a different blade to try so I will be looking. I see that the Nitaku shake defense is very popular
any feed back on blade to use from close to table to mid distance chopping***HEY GUYS
any idea's.

back to chopping
and not blocking
Peace GIG

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I like his style, too.

The twiddling to do the BH attack shots is pretty amazing when you consider that he had to send the previous shot in such a way that he could be very confident that the return would come to his BH and be attackable.

His footwork, FH chop, FH loop attack (if thats what its called), and BH chop are all pretty good, I thought. I wonder what kind of rating he has or would have?
