she's a chopper: Angela Zhan. She was also withdrawn after two sets because she broke her toe in the morning (running?) against a chair. Here's some footage of her:

Angela played/trained at our club for two weeks last year... She has the brightest character of any kid I've ever met. She's special.

that kid can chop the crud*** (For fear of the worst) off most of the juniors in my state, beat alot of the queensland girls a lot older than her! =D

Nice little chopper, she can't talk English so must be a new immigrint to Aussie, I guess she hasn't played for another Country or she must have registerd To play for Aussie when she was 7, anyhow great to see Jnrs chopping

4.03.06.02.01 3 years after the date or registration, if the player is under the age of 15 when registered;
4.03.06.02.02 5 years after the date of registration, if the player is under the age of 18 but at least 15 years of age when registered;
4.03.06.02.03 7 years after the date of registration, if the player is under the age of 21 but at least 18 years of age when registered.
4.03.06.03 Players being 21 years of age or older will not be registered with the ITTF and will not be eligible to represent a new association at the World Cup

I was a little surprised to see someone in the Green and Gold who couldn't speak any English. I wonder if she has actually ever lived here given she trains in China. Perhaps she has relatives here? :?:

Actually, she can speak some English... When she was at our club she would cheerfully ask any adult "Do you want to play?" in perfect English, and she would count the scores out loud during the match without any problem. In this video, she was obviously not comfortable enough to do the interview without help.
