This is getting better and better... Great contributions, Osyris21! It is so good to be able to have a look at players of "normal" levels and see how they use anti to enjoy their game.

Maria Kretschmer is another chopper with anti; in the video-section: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=17998. Great to watch.

Not a good video as it's highlights of the other player, but Peter Igel is one of the world's best anti choppers. He currently uses a Win-Tec Defensiv2001 blade along with Tibhar Speedy Spin 1mm and Yasaka Antipower 2mm. I also think he's a regular poster at http://forum.tt-news.de/

Anyone know of any decent video of this player?

He doesn't get much time to chop well, is forced to doing it a bit hasty, wich means he doesn't produce good backspin and is punished for it. It is the first one that will make the difference; if it isn't good enough, you've lost the initiative. That is the same for any defender - or attacker. I get the impression he is chopping too often with too short a motion to impart enough spin, but that is easy to say from a safe distance...

Like I said, it's a lousy video posted by the opponent so, of course, Igel doesn't look good. But the guy can play. Last year he had a balance of 29:14 in the Oberliga, which is pretty significant for a 40-something anti chopper. I'm hoping someone will come forward with some decent video.

Also take a look at this interview and his click-tt statistics.
