Hello my name is Timo 24 years old and I live in Finland
I have played table tennis 13 years but it has been on/off playing becauce i have been playing baseball semi-pro now i am only playing table tennis becauce i had bad injuries"knee and shoulder surgery then back problems intervertebral disc cracked and moved out and my motivation did disappear because i was allways with some kind of operation.

playin style is 2 winged looper i have on my forehand hurricane 2 and my backhand short pimples ritz 802-1. I dont loop so much on my backhand but i try to suprice there now and then.

My level is now 1400 because i havent been in competitions but next weekend it starts lets see what happen

Table Tennis abrreviations, and acronyms

Hi all....
I am from Kuantan,Malaysia.
I have been playing table tennis for nearly 10 years and late starter.
My playing style is modern defence and a chop blocker.I am a penholder.
I twiddle using 'Strange King' with Haifu Penguin on my Forehand and Pogo ox on my Backhand.
I found this forum fit for my playing style.

hi, welcome. penhold chop blocker? i am curious to see how you do it. i am penhold, and i find myself on defense more often than not.

I play for a small club consists of 30 members in Kuantan.

I am a twiddler,when taking serve or during rallies i used to Chop Block using 'Pogo ox'(LP) if the ball pop up i usually counter hit using my Haifu Penguin(SP).

That seems the 'ideal' way for pips chop blockers. I give you all credit if you can make it a successful part of your game.

When you say 'late starter', what do you mean? The reason I ask, is that I started playing serious table tennis in my 40s. How old are you?
