It's not nearly so fast as I thought it would be, but it is definitely an OFF blade leaning toward the OFF+. However, because of the Kiso Hinoki even though it is a firm, somewhat stiff blade, it really has a soft feel. It's definitely a good blade for loopers. I've loved every blade I've ever tried with Hinoki outer layers and to date the Zetro Quad is finally a keeper. I think this blade will match well with a fast rubber if one is good enough to handle it, but I have a medium-speed rubber (Nittakku Hammond Pro Beta) and I get good control yet just enough speed when I need it. This blade and rubber has given me the ability to step back a few feet when I need it and still have good power. A downside MIGHT be trying to use it with ox LPs unless one is a good hitter. It is probably too fast for passive blocking. I tried it with Pogo and Talon both and I was struggling with my control. But if you hit with it the ball won't often come back! That's why I recently switched to anti on the bh and this blade seems a good match for that. I can actually loop (very slow) with the anti against no spin or underspin balls and it just feels so good and solid with this blade. I want to buy another as a backup if I can scrape up the cash!
i want a good looking xiom blade bit faster than clipper for cpen short pips could be this blade for me?
