Um a question about the scoop server which i do (its like FENG Tianwei (SIN)) thats where i got the idea from then the normal pendulum
What is the best way of getting the most spin out of a serve?
What do i look for when hitting the ball into the rubber?
im using Neo Hurricane 3 rubber

Max spin comes from Max bat speed.

Speed of ball comes from how thick or thin the contact is.

Orientation of spin is determined by contact point on the ball.

Deception comes from being able to disguise one or more of these three. :)

Just to add something else to the mix..............

What you summarised reads spot on for tacky rubbers. I've found with non-tacky rubbers I can generate max spin by getting the maximum dwell time. The service motion requires the optimum speed and pressure to get the hold time and bite. As opposed to a fast bat swing, which reduces the hold time.

Timo's serves are a good example of this.

Yes, but dont try too hard to make your swing faster as ot can easily make you tense and hit the ball with harder contact. The most important thing is to stay loose and get a thin contact with the ball for maximum spin. And with a "scoop" serve body rotation is also important.
