OOAK Table Tennis Forum

I am settled on Feint Soft 1.3 on the backhand and Joola Drum CWX 2.0 on the forehand. The feint weighs just 24g and the cwx 49g on the defence 2. I would like to keep the total weight at 150g or less. If I need to, I have a wacky idea to put some short pips on the forehand to chop/loop with . That would reduce the weight, I suppose.

Being a perfectionist EJ really sucks. My tennis and tt games are both in EJ limbo at the moment, and both will shoot up tremendously once I find the grails.

Ugh, I tried Joola Drum for a few hits once and it felt just like what you'd expect a Chinese topsheet would feel like if it were dead and tensioned over a totally unstable sponge. I'd take even the cheapest of Friendship rubbers over it.

mehh I would have voted for Stiga allround classic being decently slow, not too large of a head to cover like a defence blade and not being that head heavy and stable due to weighing about 85gr.

not to mention it's inexpensive

I agree that the regular Joola Drum was pretty crappy, but the CWX version has a much softer, more springy sponge. It plays a lot like h3 provincial with a wee bit of glue.

I can't wait to try the bogeyhunter setup.
