Today I tested Dr.Neubauer terminator first time.Really very different rubber.Different because although it is a short pip it effects like long pip .A lot of curve ,sink balls ect. There is an oil like thing on it.On the forehand I tried to smash but all the time the ball went to the net. After practicing half an hour I began to smash. But two of four smashes again went to the net.Really difficult to smash but when you smash the ball hardly comes back.Your opponent have very little chance to return this curve(like side spin) flat ball. But really you need a lot of practice to get use to it.When you chop really difficult ball to your opponent. The ball never follow normal route, always something unexpected thing happen.Although you make a normal chop suddenly the ball curves one side or suddenly falls. When you smash high balls impossiple to return. On the backhand even very slow smashes is enough to win the point because your opponent sent the ball to the net.Backhand chop is also very effective like forehand.Passive blocking is very difficult because it is a fast rubber. You need active blocking, you need to move the bat foreward while blocking topspin. This rubber does not effected from topspin. It has little friction and I think when that oily thing on it moved it will become more frictionless. You can't do topspin with it.I am preparing a video with terminator but I need more practice to get use to it.I can say my first impressions are good about terminator.

Thanks Fadil.

Are you using red or black?

Does the rubber leave any oily residue on the ball?

I am using black one.I haven't noticed any oily residue on the ball but first night I put the racket on the white cloth and it stayed there whole night. And next morning I noticed some oily dots on the cloth.I am sure that oily dots came there from the top of the pips.

Thanks. Did you get the Desperado also? I've read some players are saying that's the Doctor's best rubber since Super Block.

Extremely interesting, Sir.
Thank you for the review.

Do you mind uploading a picture of it?
I am intrigued by this 'oily' pips :)

Hi Fadil

Do you see Terminator as a backhand or forehand rubber? The short video on the Dr Neubauer website shows Dr N himself using it as a forehand rubber. It would only suit me as a backhand rubber. Very interested if it is low friction.

Bulldog.

Hi Bulldog,Although our dear doctor used it on the forehand side I tested both.In general it is much easier for me to use on the backhand but when you smash with forehand the ball NEVER comes back. You can't even see the ball.I noticed that when you directly smash ,the ball goes like sidespin and very low and suddenly falls. We also tested it with the new PVC balls and saw that it is also effective with these balls. Thanks
