I'm thrilled that TSP (Japan) have agreed to an interview with me.

I think most people know about the TSP brand as it's been around for decades, but don't know much about the company. They have a wide range of products, also have a lot of unique products, and one of the widest range of pimple rubbers.

So if there are questions you'd like to ask, please post them here or PM me, and I'll try to include them.

when are they plnning to make a LP with the P1R top sheet and P4 sponge ?

1) What inspired TSP to cater to majority of pimp players instead of the inverted players ?

I'll be asking them about balls as well... see if they have a design or source for new plastic balls yet, and if they've tested any of them, or if they will continue making the celluloid balls.

Some questions I had in mind, don't know if they are all useful...

- What does “TSP” (I suppose it’s an abbreviation) mean?

- What’s the etymology of ‘Curl’ in the curl-series?

- TSP is very much related and oriented to defensive table tennis material. What’s the history behind this? Will this still be the case in the future (cf. new Ventus series)

- What’s the added value of the new TSP Ventus series compared to other tensor or high tension rubbers? Is it true that sponge is from ESN? If so, how will collaboration with ESN will look like in future?

- What’s exactly connection/relation between TSP and Victas?

- After Koji Matsushita left TSP to become head at Victas, are there other top defenders in the team to advise and help with new innovations? What’s the link between Koji Matsushita and TSP now?

- Which top 150 defenders (male and female) use TSP pimples/blades/inverted (or have a commercial contract with TSP) and what do they use exactly?

- Shiono was the first defender since many years to win a world tour tournament, using TSP Curl P4 0.5. Can you tell us more about him and his relation with Koji Matsushita and with TSP now and in the near future?

- To what extent is Shiono's win (and broader: the successes of other top defenders like Joo SaeHyuk using TSP) a commercial opportunity/boost for TSP?
