I've tried these 2 pips, and this is my opinion: The 563 Mystery is much slower, and much less deceptive than 563, and its surface is not as hard as the ordinary 563. I've attached 2.2 mm Kokutaku sponge (white sponge, 46 degree) to the ordinary 563, and found that this rubber is much more deadly, it has the speed of an inverted rubber, maybe faster. When my friend served, I used 563 to hit straight to the ball and it came back to him really fast, sometimes the ball came when he have not yet taken his arm back to prepare for next stroke. :) . Also, the ball comes really low, maybe because of the hard sponge. Blocking is much more deceptive. The only dark side of this pips is chopping. I cannot cause trouble to my opponent, but I think that these features are enough for my style of play: blocking, hitting and attacking through spin. :)
Thank you very much for your replies later on :)

Mystery I, II, and III refer to different sponge types as far as I know. The topsheet is always the same. I've tried them all under 755 and I can't detect much difference. In the USA the 35* Special Soft sponge has become popular due to Zeropong.com who I think orders them that way in bulk for this market.

Only sponge differs, but I am not sure Mystery II for 755 is the same as for 563 (or 802 or 837).

sorry sirs, but I've read some ratings on Eacheng and also on the covers of these 2 rubbers, and they rate the spin, speed and control of these 2 are really different. Maybe it's because of the sponge. @@

Naturally the sponge will effect spin, speed, and control.

There are endless examples, but consider T05 v T05fx.
