the best spinny pips are the globe 889-2 with japanese sponge, very linear,average disturbing with tons of control,its a steal that this pips is so cheap, better than 802-40 little more taller pips but best balance of spin/knuckle

I don't think that's a loop at all - it's just a topspin drive. Loops are supposed to produce overwhelming topspin. Regular topspin's been around since the days of hardbat, sponge increases it, inverted even more, but a loop produces a great deal more. These days apparently any topspin drive is called a "loop". Look at any of the table tennis books from the 1970s and they describe this stroke as a topspin drive. Loops are in a separate section.

I agree, it's a forceful topspin drive. It's a very good stroke, but it's not a loop.
