Some very Niche Products Alex. Those two Victas blades state they have wood fibre plies as well as wood. Is that a composite mixture of wood?

All I can say there is too much choice this year for good wood blades! Xioms, Joolas, Andros, Victas, Darkers, Yasakas and Stigas. I really don't know what I want to purchase. All I want is XIOM to release those wood blades which they have announced at the start of the year that are still found on their webpage. Some people say it is expensive being an ej but I have to disagree because as a hobby/sport table tennis isn't to bad. Try your luck at Tennis, Hunting, Fishing, Music or Smoking and Drinking. Table Tennis isn't to bad.

But come to think of it I feel that maybe XIOM have not yet released their new Omega Blades because they might have to make some changes for the new seamless (spinless  ) Ball. XIOM have a good track record as a company so I reckon they may have taken this route as a business decision. Thankyou ITTF for making the table tennis communities live harder with your painstakingly slow and disorganized transition from Celluloid to Plastic. Thankyou.

Yes it is... they claim it's a technology they've developed themselves over several years. You can see some more details and pictures of the Dynawood blades here.
