the video is played with the antiking which is different than my usual racket, so that is why the bat is at a neutral angle, but it is never (!) closed whilst blocking..that would make the fall onto my half of the table immediately. so do consider opening your bat whenever you block loops, opening the more the more spin the loop has. the upward body movement plays no role.

Ok so maybe I have wrong definition of open/close angle. I need to clearify it because I see its crucial. I have always thought that if lower part of blade is closer to You than upper part it means that angle is closed. Like in picture att. Thats why I thought that Your blade in att. pics is very little but close. Should it be even more vertical? I would love to have lessons with You but 500 km in one way is a little to far :). Could You move to Cracow? :D

yes thats exactly what i mean with close! when i attack the blade is more closed...but when blocking it is more open...

Hello!
I am a new user from Italy!!
I am a classic offensive player, currently the 233th in Italian Ranking.
I'm trying a different style with frictionless antitop on my backhand.
I have been doing that for the last month...a lot of funny! :D
Here some training points with SpinParasite from Der-Materialspezialist (huuuge brand!!  ):

Very good control and spinreversal.
The blade i'm using in Stiga Carbonado 190.
