^Nope. The topsheets are absolutely, unmistakably different.

Blowfish has shorter, harder, wider pips, with marginal spin-producing capability.

Hexer Pips has slightly longer, much softer, grippier, narrower pips, with much more ability to produce spin.

Regarding these two rubbers, Hexer Pips is a pretty good grippy pip, no real complaints. Hexer Pips is also a bit faster than Blowfish.

Blowfish is one of the worst rubbers I've ever used. When I play with short pips, I expect that my blocks and hits will go in a relatively low, relatively straight line. Blowfish has this peculiar 'catch-and-throw' effect, where the ball sinks into the sponge, then pops up high and long. No matter what bat angles I tried when blocking or hitting, I absolutely could not get the ball on the table in a way that was dangerous for my opponent (if on the table at all). With 802, 802-40, Hexer Pips, 802A, Dragonow, etc, I've never had a problem.
