Today a match in the second highest leauge in Sweden (Superettan) was broadcasted through the internet. It was a match between the two top teams Ängby, with Gustaf Ericson (tall, blond with dark red shirt), and Norrtull. The broadcast can be found here: http://www.pingistv.se/ShowMedia.aspx?i ... 6a7d68875c
or maybe here: http://stream.sportlobbyn.se:81/pingistv/

Gustafs first match, against Kaspar Sternberg (ITTF rank #281) starts at 01:01:40. The second match, against John Wall, starts at 01:56:10

I don't what material he uses, perhaps someone can fill me in? He has got a very powerful BH-attack and he twiddles a lot, but I have no idea if played his best today.

Wow, very unusual style, quite unorthodox, but he hits some great shots!

He's either got amazing touch, or he does use anti/pimples...

Could this be him?

I am guessing some pips without sponge, but he twiddles a lot.

Yep, that's him.

He's awesome to watch. His twiddled backhand loop is crackers!

Problem is, he literally has twice as many shots to learn and become consistent with in comparison to an attacker. I'd imagine he'll lose relatively consistently to players who can attack earlier than him.

He had a grade in economy, he won't hesitate to use English :). But it isn't for sure he will answer a pm through facebook...

I am curious what kind of material he uses.
It seems that he has a lot of control.

Nice!
Actually, I would have guessed on Dornenglanz and Tenergy. Makes sense.
Hassiv, every time he attacks with his BH he twiddles. He uses his Tenergy as much on BH as on FH. He recieves a lot of serves with inverted on BH.

If you need something more to compare to, he beat Timothy Wang (who played a few matches in this league last season) with 6-11, 11-6, 5-11, 11-13.
