Update.

After more practice and now 5 matches into the season, now getting used to KNik ball, it is very consistent, has huge sidespin kick and often unintentionally reaps knuckle balls in fast and slow speed rallies, both giving and getting many in return!

I dislike this aspect of the ball most!
Next dislike is the slow game with pips especially, it is very easy to net with the lack of ball grip, where there are speed and spin gears with the cell, the heavier poly makes your touch seem poor!

It is clear that my team's late but dedicated and intense practice pre season is reaping rewards, as many opponents do not understand nor are that aware of new ball properties.

Can still get good spin on serve, with good technique and more kick off wristy type topspin shots!

Still am not happy with my set up as I find tacky too laboured and slow and I haven't found a tensor type yet that isn't too fast or gives me as much control as I am used too!

We still see players making " wild " shots that are purely down to the much smaller window of accuracy that we get with the poly!
I've lost count of the number of times my head has been peppered with the ball!

To my utter surprise, my team is flying and doing better results wise, ( prolly due to our extra practice ) am I enjoying it, no, I can't really say as much as I used to! It's more frustrating with games littered with more mistakes.
Personally I have much less " feel " to my game and tactics and game planning in play is less possible now imho! Rallies are longer and more boring if the player at the other end just returns!

One match had more nets and edges in one evening than in a half season!

Where's the fun and skill in that?

LOW FRICTION TABLE IS A CRAP.
The researching group of Japan has proved this recently.
Most of the plastic laminates to cover up on table's top is the low-friction material with very poor dynamic traction beneath 0.2

Should you like the crappy ball bounce, than go and have a play on the slippery plastic covering CoF <0.2

NOTE, PLEASE
Great number of pingpang tables now in general use worldwide producing poor, erratic and wild bounce due to the overly slick playing surface COF<0.2
Such is the latter scientifical findings by the Japanese testing group.

ULTIMATE RESOLUTION BY THE JAPANESE RESEARCHERS.
--The best playable tables are those COF= 0.4 -0.8

GOOD LUCK.

Eh? Didn't you just post this in its own thread? Anyhow, what's the connection to the Kingnik ball (other than that it would perhaps not bounce sideways so much on a "is a crap" low friction table?

True. And yet I feel a sense of relief so overwhelming that I feel like crying.

Hopefully not long now. We get a lot of moaning and shouting in our league about this.

NITTAKU`s TWIN from China Factory now up on market.

http://minkow.en.alibaba.com/productshowimg/60424464761-802356814/New_coming_KINGNIK_super_training_40_plastic_table_tennis_ball_ABS_material_.html

ABS plastic, just the same material as now used by Nittaku Premiun 40+ balls. The price reduced as much as three times downwards as compared to the Japan-made product.

China born people are the world`s best inventive nation. I love you, China Minkow. Yes.
