In the North of the Netherlands (Friesland, Heerenveen)... in october of 2015... a big game of table tennis... with a top 50-player (Peter Verweij)... this is a must-see video!

This is the top division in the northern part of the Netherlands. Around third division level.
In the video you can see Peter Verweij. Last year, he played at the highest level (Eredivisie) in the Netherlands.
He took a step back (three divisions) to climb with the talented youth.

Table Tennis club 'Delta Impuls' vs. Table Tennis club 'Emmen'

Thanks for posting, and welcome to the forum Slupmi-Atled

I've wondered what the standard is like in Holland (since I'm from there originally), and this has given me a fair idea.

Thank you, haggisv.
So... originally a Dutchman... Where were you born?
The table tennis-standard in the Netherlands is, unfortunately, not that high.
Do you play table tennis too, where and at what level?

I was born in Noordwijk, ZH, but I've been in Australia for ~35 years now.

Yes I certainly do play  , and although I'm in the top grade here in Adelaide, the level is not very high here either.

Ah... Noordwijk. Near the sea. Near Noordwijk (in Katwijk) they also play table tennis, around third division level. I know a number of players over there.
Can you explain how the table tennis competition in Australia works?
