Outrageous performance from Wu Yang in Germany... she was unstoppable, never missing, always keeping the ball low and with heavy spin/deceptive float... and that FH was simply the most powerfull among women players. I don't think there's a non chinese player who can defeat her at the moment.

I've not seen any new tournament/competition videos of her since the german open against ishikawa much earlier this year. Has she done anything since?

Oh, nice!

Do you use any websites to keep up to date on those sorts of things? I'm always confined to youtube searches it seems!

But man, how many times I've tried to model my game after Wu's! It just seems the stars aren't aligned :( I don't have the patience that she does, and after 3-4 pushes in a rally I start pulling my hair out wondering why nobody hasn't attacked yet! It's almost too bad that Wu is on the chinese team.. they have so many good players that she isn't needed to dispatch of the other opponents...

You can always check there: http://ittf.com/ittv/
On the left, Opens are listed and videos can be watched.
Draws for the Japan Open are shown there (right side): http://www.ittf.com/competitions_temp/competitions2.asp?Competition_ID=2663&category=PT

Yeah, I just look at the ittf world tour stuff.

They post entries well in advance and draws as the tourneys get under way.

Wu Yang is also entered for korean open coming up soon after japan

Wu's draw this week is not good.
She gets one match against a qualie, Maeda
then probably Li XX

to make it worse Li's qualie is Sato, a chopper so Li gets a warm-up match against defence
