Spectol has a quite a high sink effect, and has high control especially at low impact as it's not that fast.

I found spectol one of the most controllable sp in my year of trying sp. I have a red 1.8 sheet that anyone can have free if they would like to try it. Just pm me.

Spectol is the perfect all-round pip. Plenty of spin, and great control. Strong recommendation. It wasn't clear from your post whether you've already used 802, because that's great too. I found that very good for control, but Spectol has more spin.
