He is actually ranked very high in Sweden. Attached is the current ranking where those who are in top 100 of the world are placed in the top position no matter how many points they have in the Swedish ranking system.

You can see Gurra at position 37, he is born 1988 and competing for Ängby and has 2595 ranking points (he gained 18 from last month). At position 40 we have Magoo, another pushblocker, and at 33 we have Fabian. Now, Gurras opponent in that match is Peter Gripler at position 9, right below of Xu Hui (who has no world ranking but if he had he would be around 30 in the world). And here we have the problem with our ranking system. Gripler has been playing in a much lower league than he should the last years and have been facing players in my ranking level. For each win he gains three points (2 per win and 1 per played match no matter if you win or loose). If he wins against someone at his own level he gains 10 points plus 1 point for the match. If he wins against someone better he gains more points, up to 40 at the best. So he has been gaining loooooooots of 2-points lately and therefore his ranking has raised up to where he is today. His true level should be around place 80-100 I guess. A year ago he was at position 30 in Sweden, and two years ago at position 70. But he is still a very good player and has a very cool style!

Nice! So enjoyable to watch! He seems to have changed his blade, probably Clipper since that is what Fabian uses (and also it's Stiga).

Interesting that Spinlord is now creating videos of him...very cool.

Is anyone able to contact Gustaf again and confirm any equipment changes? It certainly looks as though he may have changed blade.

Gustafs (as well as Denis Kalachewskis) team has a match today in the league and it looks like they'll stream it on youtube:
https://youtube.com/channel/UCXhtPtV6_klWJF37c5MI0FA

They had the stream up for a couple of minutes (probably to see that it works) but it's down now, the match is scheduled to start 15:00 CET. They also have a match tomorrow at 14:00.

I do really enjoy watching him play but I find his technique quite... ugly?? I know that sounds harsh but everything is so upright and short. His forehand looks like a quarter swing.

His movement and prediction of where the ball is going is superb though, which is why he gets away with twiddling as much as he does. Interesting to see in those games that he doesn't twiddle anywhere near as much as he does against weaker opponents. I think that's a lesson for us all to learn!

Can someone confirm with him who might have contact....Haggis asked him about his blade and it used to be the Stiga Allround Carbon Classic.

Now, the Angby Sportsklubb Youtube person stated it's a Clipper in the comments:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_NEScFwAg0

Does anyone know if he changed?
