Good luck. Merry Xmas Colbolt, Wanchop and Iskander. If you're ever in Northern Victoria and want a hit, let me know.

Thanks for the invitation! Happy holidays!
I live in Canada, a little far away from your place. But if I ever got the chance to go there, I'll let you know

Did a video today to show what settings are usable. There are more but I think these are the main options, many others and the ball flys off the table.

Thanks for the video! Yours works so well. If I set mine to anything over 2, the balls will go off the table. If 8, my head will probably get shot.
And more frustrating thing is the inconsistency. I have maybe 2 options that works.
Was there a break-in period for your robot?
Another thing, the motor noise is very loud when the robot is paused.

Very cute baby!

No break in for me though I did notice today the motor was loud at fast settings though I generally don't use them.

When paused, mine is very load even at setting 2. I did find out this is from the top wheel.
I so wish that mine could work like yours. Even at the few options that are usable, only 80% land on the table.
My last resort is buying a pack of new balls that are exactly the same.

The tilt stand is very useful, and it's also possible to mount the robot on top of something (maybe an old phone directory, if they still exist where you live). Mount it high and angle it down and you can probably use the higher speed settings.

We just got a 2016 V300 two days ago. It's working well, but Oscillation bogs down on speeds 1-6. It only works on 7 & 8.

If anyone's V300 works on the lower speeds let me know and I'll consider a return. Right now it seems like simply a poorly engineered motor.

Thanks,
Jon

The same here. Just see the videos I included in the posts above. I'm waiting for response from the distributor.

My oscillation is fine but need to have plenty of slack in the power cord so it doesn't tug. Mine is serial 'B'. Perhaps the new model used a different and cheaper motor.

Mine does struggle when tilted too.

Just an update here. After hearing about my issues, the store actually sent me a replacement(a C again). I just got it an hour ago, and they didn't even ask the old robot back. Great customer service! If anyone are in North America, pingpongdepot.com is a great place to buy the table tennis stuff.

I just tried out the new unit. The placement seems better and most importantly the oscillation works now! Even at the setting 1. I'll do more tests and let you guys know later.

I practiced this afternoon. It's like a different product. Most of the issues are gone. Quite consistent and oscillation works fine. The consistency could be further improved with a pack of same balls. I bought 100 and they are on their way.
Generally, I'm happy with the robot.

Great Video Cobalt! I clearly need to try some stuff with the bot closer to the net. Looks like some useful shots can be done from there.
