Does this have any reviews? I can't find anyone that's tried it!

Blade: Trinity Carbon
FH: Victas VS > 401
BH: Dr N Troublemaker OX
I've had one in my hand... it's a beautiful blade... definitely made by the same people as the Donic World Champion '89 series, probably by Soulspin as suggested.

It's oversize and feels quite slow, definitely a defensive blade in speed, not just in style. The Donic rating of 5+ seems accurate.

Thanks Haggisv,

Is it soft/hard? How would it compare the the defplay or VKM?

i bought the shiono def and i like it a lot . i played the JSH blade with Curl p1r before and i need to say that i can chop much better now . in this case better means i got more control and more backspin. on the FH i play tenergy 64 fx and its also nice ... its not as hard as the JSH and you can attack near the table and far away.
so overall its softer than a JSH ( but not really slower(FH)) and its faster then a BTY Defence IV.

if you guys have more questions let me know.

Does it have a similar feel to the JSH?

it is definitively softer and as a consequence it got more catapult then the JSH and you can create more spin on FH topspin.
BUT DONT BUY IT IN CONCAVE !!! its very thin !

How does it feel when chopping? Is it slower than the JSH?
Do you get more spin on loops and chops?
More control than the JSH?

1. Yes
2. yes more spin on loops and chops
3. control i would say it depends on the playstyle. i have more control with it ( maybe cos its softer)

i think the last time i played VKM was 1 year ago but i am pretty sure that shiono is faster.
just buy 1. its not that expensive and its 100% worth.
