Hi, my son plays table tennis for a long time, I'm looking for a coach who can make him more better. Coach from recommendation its a good choice? What you can say about coach search engines like this one? https://zoptamo.com/uk/s-table_tennis-c-uk Its worth a try?

Try using TableTennis England's website. They have a coaching portal here

https://tabletennisengland.co.uk/organi ... d-a-coach/

It will allow you to find coaches qualified to UKCC level 1 or higher standard. More importantly the coaching section of that website also lists a lot of background on coaching in general and what you can expect from a UKCC qualified coach. There is also a "developement" section. Table Tennis England have regional development officers who's goal is to promote the development of talent within their catchment area. Last Sunday I was at a North West England Regional Training Camp for Juniors and Cadets. These types of events are advertised on the website or your local Development Officer should be able to tell you about them. Go down to one of the events near you or find a local league that runs coaching sessions and see what you think about the standard of coaching you there. Not everyone learns the same way, the best players don't necessary make the best coaches. Try and see and ask your son / take your son with you.

Also, going to be a bit dependent on where in the UK you are. No use recommending a coach in Cornwall if you live in Scotland.

Can't argue with that. It's football not soccer though :-)

At least we've got a decent Rugby coach!

ha ha, that would be fighting talk, except you're probably right! Time will tell. A topic to book mark and revisit in a couple of years! ;)

So what you're saying is they need good coaches for these sports as they currently have none? :P
