 Post subject: Advice on gluing rubbers

Hello there..
Just wondering if there is any specific weather condition that we should not be gluing rubbers like some people say do not glue rubbers when there is rain coz there is too much humidity in the air and air bubbles will be trapped inside the glue

Yeah, that problem with humidity and water based glues for table tennis rackets was an issue not only the natives at the Amazonas were facing. Luckily, since the invention of the hair dryer most of the problems are gone.

Just do it in an airconditioned room. The local public library will be ideal, even if you live in New Orleans.

And just use rubber cement and save yourself a lot of grief (unless your racket really will go through Racket Control with a VOC detector - not really a problem for the vast majority of us).

never had a problem in humidity. You just need patience. And planning.
