TRIED OUT SOME BATS & RUBBERS ETC
Match bat-grubba pro/red neo ant 2mm tac c 1.9mm-nice feel-missed some forehands though
grubba all plus(1)donic anti 40/sriver fx max-donic anti was dead but i could backhand drive-sriver felt good.
THWS-black juic neo 2mm-tsp l catcher-didnt really like the feel of the l catcher on this blade
defplay-reflectoid 1.5-horrible on blade-didnt like the feel or the flex.
@-GRUBBA ALL+LEAVE SRIVER AND PUT ON BLACK JUIC NEO ANTI
@-Defplay senso with the tac c 1.9mm on the f/h was nice-did it loop better?
@-consider sriver on grubba pro & defplay
ps-tried double winged anti again on a hallmark combination blade-AVERAGE-

Just looking back on some notes
2 rubbers that work for me are the neo in 2mm and the tac c in 1.9mm
these go nice on the defplay and grubba pro
sriver fx max is going to be tried asap
i think the defplay has a better f/h but the grubba pro is better for absorbing shots
toni hold white spot needs futher testing(NICE)

good knock last night.
hit briefly with a guy who had a good f/h-the grubba pro and neo blocked well.
tac c 1.9mm is decent but slow when trying to put the ball away-you really have to go for it.
tried yap on the grubba all plus-too fast imho

Here is an interview with Hr Imamura from Butterfly from the latest BTY newsletter:

this sounds true, and does not look like an exaggerated advertising text:

Come to the contrary of the SOLCION, the much slower
TACKINESS CHOP II. An improved TACKINESS C?

No, no improved TACKINESS C,
a new version. Thats is quite easy. We changed
the sponge at the TACKINESS
CHOP. It has
approximately the hardness of an SRIVER L-sponge. This
gives the new TACKINESS CHOP II more
speed without losing the extreme cutting capabilities
of the soft
surface. TACKINESS C players are
generally defensive players, who prefer a lot of polish and also
the undercut defense. A slightly more aggressive style
with an extremely high spin is now possible with the TACKINESS CHOP II.

So the TACKINESS CHOP II is not an improvement of
TACKINESS C, but a harder and thus more
aggressive variant of the sponge .

Exactly that. There are still many players,
especially in the lower game classes, which are very important for control and defensive playing
, which play the TACKINESS C. They should
continue to do so. However, those who want to get an idea faster can
now change without having to switch directly to the TACKINESS D
, which is much less grippy than the TACKINESS C.

@@Block: very safe and substantially simpler than with the old Tackiness C, due to the harder sponge @@???????????????

How does the hardness of the blades feel?

I've got a JSH now and it feels too fast for me. Is the CWX much slower?

I also have the chen defender blade. That one... feels a bit too large! It's like a big frying pan at the table

interesting quote m8 ^^^
very happy with cut down grubba pro /juic neo 2mm and tac c 1.9mm
all other blades and combos resting.
i really like the feel of the soft tac c in combination with the dwell time on the pro.you can really feed and guide your shots well on the forehand.i dont think it has the control of the tsp l catcher s/p in the close to the table blocking game though.l catcher is a very soft rubber.my combination at the moment is soft rubbers on a flexible medium hard blade.pretty good for me.
if the blade was not cut down im not sure what the feel would be like ?

The Culture - a human/machine symbiotic society - has thrown up many great Game Players, and one of the greatest is Gurgeh. Jernau Morat Gurgeh. The Player of Games. Master of every board, computer and strategy. Bored with success, Gurgeh travels to the Empire of Azad, cruel and incredibly wealthy, to try their fabulous game...a game so complex, so like life itself, that the winner becomes emperor. Mocked, blackmailed, almost murdered, Gurgeh accepts the game, and with it the challenge of his life - and very possibly his death.

practised at a different location to usual.
tried the THWS with tsp l catcher-again could get away with the l catcher-not much feel
back to old faithful-grubba pro /neo tac c 1.9mm.
played 2 decent div 2 players and won-blocked very well off the bounce with the anti.
they overplayed a lot of shots.my f/h wasnt bad
played very strong div 1 player in a friendly-not sure what gear he was in ;)
i think i was 6-1 up in the first game-he pulled back and won 3-0.
i was in the games and gave a good account of myself.
blocked off the bounce with the anti.
his serves were good but i got most back with the anti.
i served ok but put a few off the table(fast serve with anti)
i was also a little lazy when receiving serves and didnt get my feet perfect.
if my feet were not right the serve did go back but was usually put away.
i need to get in a good position to give a decent chop the serve back if its a fast one.
