Haven't gotten around to compose my Japan travel stories just yet, but for some who want to have a peek of Japan, head over to my instagram as I've started posting photos there.

Along with some blades too, of course. 8-)

Isn't Andro supposed to be a German brand?

Hi, does the Fang Bo B2 carbon has a serial number on the round hologram on the handle? Does ttnpp.com a reliable place to buy the FB F2?
Thanks,

The round hologram sticker is on the plactic wrapping about the handle area.

Haven't bought from there.

To echo my answer at the ig question: Friend? Cough... Cough... I'd get all three... Otherwise, for simplicity, value and all-round performance, Korbel.

Just noticed didn't quote you on the reply few days ago. Ha!

I am quite interested in the Fang Bo 2.

On TT11, they list a Fang Bo Carbon, but not a Fang Bo 2. They describe it as "the blade of Fang Bo in the 2016 season" (pinch of salt duly taken).

The TTDB has a variety of Bo blades including both the above, plus Hurricane Bo 2 (Hurricane B2), and a Fang Bo B2.

Aliexpress has "DHS Original 2016 New Hurricane BO 2 (Hurricane B2)".

Am I easily confused, or is this SEF (Someone Else's Fault)?

These in addition to the allwood versions (I think). Aliexpress has this "Hurricane BO (Hurricane B) is with 7 ply pure wood; Hurricane BO 2 (Hurricane B2) is with 5 + 2 arylate carbon".

Also, can anyone confirm the makeup of the 7-ply wood version? I have a Hurricane Long 3, and if the Bo version is the same, it would make a good backup blade for emergency. If it had the Clipper stripes it would be easier to be sure. (Because I really need another backup, apart from my Clipper and my PG-7). ;)

Only 2 version of Fang Bo that I know of.
Fang Bo 1 (B1) which is allwood
Fang Bo 2 (B2) which is composite (arylate carbon)

Not sure about the composition of the Fang Bo wood.

Earlier, PG7 and TG506 are the entry level version of the Hurricane Long 2/3

Thanks. I had come to the same conclusion about the B2. I did discover the makeup of the all-wood one and it is different to the HL3. I am going to stay with what I have on those (PG-7 and Clipper).

I did get a B2, and it seems a very capable blade, although the handle is thinner than the HL3, despite looking the same from face-on. I may consider bulking it up a bit, but in the present state, it has a head heavy feel, which I don't dislike.
