do we need to worry about import duty on these Robots when imported from China for personal use? I am trying to get a Y&T A9 Robot from Taobao in china however dont know how much duty will ring up. All calculations tell me it should be zero. However cant confirm it. Anyone know it?

Depends where you live, I suppose. Where I live, as long as something costs USD100 or below there's no import tax. Above that, watch out.. you get a call from DHS asking for payment on top of what you've paid already, and it's substantial. Found out the hard way with my ANOVA sous-vide cooker.

i place an order for Y&T A9 on taobao for 350$ but it got cancelled because the Jiacheng -USPS warehouse wouldn't ship anything greater than 80 cms in length. I know Chinapost-USPS allows it but i cant make them understand it.
Anyone with any inputs on importing it here securely?
