I like to use the anti as a weapon! Blocking top spins, but more often trying to kill any backspin ball that comes in my direction. So far the best I've found for this is mega-block/transformer. What I like about them is the very high level of spin reversal, so short serves, pushes or chops on the table can be attacked aggressively even when below net height. People are always amazed by these strokes

I don't really have any problem with the MB/TR rubbers, but the testing bug is always present! I guess, if being picky, I'd say that transformer or MB 1.5mm are perhaps a bit too slow with the dampening sponge. I know this works wonderfully for the blocking aspect, however. So if someone wanted to attack all out (against back spin), what is the best anti you've come across for doing this?

I've used the Dr N rhino as well, and despite being much harder, it doesn't seem to have as much reversal. I had hoped the harder material would mean cleaner reversal. Evidently not! What is the Dr N anti with the absolute most reversal? It seems every ad they put out is the NEW BENCHMARK, so it's tough to tell which one actually is...

I read your review in the Power attack thread, def-attack. And I believe you said it had a lot less spin reversal than transformer? Was it still stupid easy to attack pushes/chops with?

Sorry, missed this...

It was difficult to block the way you can with Transformer, at least on a fast blade. Attacking back spin was very good. Returning serves was also good. On low impact it has rather low grip, like BEAST almost. But when you activate the sponge and hit the ball it sort of killls the spin or at least it doesn't reverse ad much. But it was a year ago since I used it, my memory is clouded. But I made the conclusion that it did not suit my game pattern at that time, and it is a rather difficult rubber to use so it would take some time to learn it. But if you want to attack back spin more than you want to block it may be your best choice. It is much more heavy than Transformer.
