Hi guys,

Im quite confused about these sponge thicknesses. As I have inverted rubber in my forehand it was quite abig step from 1,8mm to 2,0 mm sponge. These medium pipps sometimes has 1,0 mm and then the next one is 1,5mm. Its quite big step from 1.0 mm to 1,5mm? Is it somehow different this sponge thichness than inverted ones?
I mean is there big changes for playin 1,2mm or 1,5mm?

Regards

Timo

Yes, quite big change, thus if you want to change gradually choose thickness closest to what you're currently using. Unless big change is what you're after.

For example for medium pips from 0.8/1.0 choose 1.2/1.3 instead of going for 1.5/1.8 straight away.
