Man... everytime I watch Wu play, I go out and try to emulate her style -- with very little success!

I even put on some spectol pips... gave it a whirl, lost to EVERYONE I played (that I normally beat...) and decided to put back on some long pips. Took off the short pips, and tore up some of the blade in doing so :o  Splinters, along with a good size chunk of missing wood!

Serves me right!

I think she went 1 and 3 in the chinese super league matches I saw. Wondering how she'll do vs international ones -- if she's allowed to play!

Poor pic quality but yeah, it doesn't look like Spectol anymore (name enclosed totally in the pips).
Haifu maybe?

Has the right pip/logo shape from the grainy pic, at any rate.

But then again, hard to tell and a lot of logos have similar shapes

Poor Wu... every time I see her play Liu Shiwen, I already know the sad result. She just abuses her! I feel that they've played so many times together over so many years (both in games and practice), Wu is nothing more than a training dummy for Liu!

I can only recall Wu winning one time, some years ago.

On the same token, it's probably no coincidence that Liu demolishes all other choppers as well.

It was the opposite. It was Jia who didn't want the courtesy point.
