Aha... That shot I do a lot with anti. That is great with Aggressor but it needs lots of back spin with the ABS-ball to make it possible to do it with speed. But a slow one makes the ball curve :)

actually the height, speed and spin of the ball determine how to hit the ball to create the bump. ( refer to the orientation of the blade and the hit)

Today I had a very brief hit with Hellcat 1,5 mm on my main blade (Stiga Carbonado 190). Its pips were actually a little sticky, but I guess that will disappear soon. Anyway, it is much more easy to hit and block and push with Hellcat compared to Aggressor. HC behavs almost like a SP, very similar to mu Giant Dragon 8228A, but pips are smooth and with less space between then. The hardness of pips and sponge are similar. I guess the grip will be less on Hellcat compared to GD. It felt rather unsensible to incomming spin, and blocks stayed low. There was some pimple effect but nowhere near the effect of Aggressor. I might try HC a little more against my normal opponents (today I played with my son and even though he can loop pretty well he won’t do several hard loops in a row). But I feel rather certain that I will gonthrough with Aggressor. For bow I have it in 1,5 mm, but I think 1,3 mm might suit me better. But it feels a little silly to but a new sheet just for that. I’ll see what I can do :)

If it feels too silly, I can certainly take the 1.5mm off your hands...:)

its very funny. I have the 1.3 agressor and ordered the 1.5. I should received it within few days. I would be able to give you a comparaison so you will maybe save some money.

I don't remember where I read that but the difference between 1.3 and 1.5 were very small. The us and reversal was quite similar. Anyway I will see all that very soon.

Great! I’ll wait. I guess weight would be one of the biggest differences.

Have you tried the dawei 388C-1? What are the differences. The way it plays in the video you posted is what I'd like to do... (if I go with Pips on the backhand)

Here's the video again for reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxzS7ZE0DQs

Here is a new video of another Japanese player using 388c-1. I think she has real thin sponge, not OX by looking at the pictures.

This one I'll actually embed:

I did try Dawei 388C-1 but that was like three years ago before I setteled for Millitall. And I only used it for like an hour. At that time I used VKM and I aimed at a modern defensive game. I felt that 388-C was kot for that but I also felt it was good for blocking and playing close to the table. But it is also a little difficult to buy... Otherwise I would try it again.

You can’t purchase from Asia? Is the shipping cost prohibitive? Because it’s all over the place. TTNPP, AliExpress, eacheng... here I see it on eBay and amazon. Both come from China friend.

Sure, but it will take some 2 weeks to get it. I am not that patient for the moment (and I really like Aggressor :) ).

I'm playing with the agressor tonight. One looper and 2 defenders ( classic choppers: one with inverted and one with lp) When do you play def-attack ? I'm anxious to ear from you to exchange thoughts.
