Butterfly has just released this new glue, with the following claim:

The new FREE CHACK PRO glue is more viscous compared to the original FREE CHACK. It can increase the dwell time on the blade, resulting in higher amounts of spin. Glue bottle, clips and sponge for application. Note: Please shake before use

Has anyone tried this glue, and can compare to Free Chack or Free Chack II?

Is that gluing without having to glue but using glue?

Made sense to me when I wrote it. :)

I don't believe any of these glues can make a significant impact on performance, but I am interested to know how well it works as an adhesive... and if it's worth the premium price. ;)

Maybe if you cut and pasted it.

I'd pay a premium of it was easily peeled off both rubber and blade when removing.

Another latex glue in another relabelled bottle...

While it is true that many layers will effect the feeling on the ball, as its essentially adding rubber to the surface of the blade, I don't think that its going to 'increase dwell time'. Or at least significantly enough.

I have been using the revolution3 glue which is quite thin, its good but needs a few light layers to get a good glue surface. I think the next glue I buy will be a more viscous latex like this is supposed to be.

It's sad. When someone invents what should be a truly superior glue everyone seems to forget about its existence:

I'd love to see this glue being sold under a major label - then it'd gain wider usage.

To be honest, if I cant buy a glue locally I'm not going to buy it. I am yet to see a major difference in water based latex glues that makes me want to go out of the way to pay more cash for what is essentially liquid latex in a tube.

I have not tried this glue but I can tell you that latex glues give a small speedglue effect. Not very much but the rubbers have a bit more catapult

There's a thread on Innoglue:

viewtopic.php?f=26&t=29099&hilit=innoglue

Read the description on Amazon, you'll see it's very different from the other glues. In essence - you apply it ONLY to the rubber. It'll stick to bare wood once it's dry. You can repeatedly remove and replace the rubber. The guy who invented it posted that it's somewhat related to the adhesive used on Post-it Notes, and he's an adhesive engineer. It'd be great for inverted rubber, but can you imagine how nice this would be for OX long pips? Problem is we've got a very short collective memory - while this was discussed at length, I think few people here remember the discussion or the product. I can't say whether it works as stated, or if there are drawbacks, but I sure would like to try it, and was thinking of getting a jar of it, high shipping or no high shipping. And then I forgot all about it until this thread reminded me.

There are lots of Americans who post here - surely someone's tried this glue??

Perhaps you can start a new topic on this, because people are not likely to see it in a Free Chack Pro thread. ;)

There's already a thread, no need to start a new one now I've pointed people to it.
