Some years ago there was an article in the New York Times about an annual 4th of July picnic party with fireworks (the organizer would actually distribute baskets of fireworks to the guests) in Upstate New York that had been going on for years, but was forced to end because, well, people started posting it on facebook and thousands of strangers would show up. One of the organizers said that her heart sank when "about 300 hipsters from Brooklyn showed up". One of the major mysteries of the Universe, for me, at least, was what exactly a "hipster" WAS. I suppose this video helps a little.. (Now I get the idea that they're overly hirsuite urban men who dress like lumberjacks, drink cappuccinos and use Facebook..? Are there any WOMAN hipsters?? )

(Another major mystery was what Kardashians actually DO.)

DOING LIKE A BOSS ....

Those Suomi guys do play like a boss, indeed. I'd like to see all the "ping-pang-grandees" as Harimoto doing such nifty things during ITTF mayor events. It would be some good screamer, indeed. Harimoto is unduly robotic kid. Some mechanical puppet. Sorry.

0:29 was done with a Superball. You've heard the stories about Marty Reisman, right? Breaking cigarettes, playing "handicap matches" (actually hustling people) using matchboxes, etc.

Almost 40 years ago, I picked up the newspaper and one story caught my eyes. It was on how 2 twins adopted by different families met. I did not think too much about it until a bit later when I read the newspaper again. Well, brother number 3 was like me, reading the story in the local newspaper, but he noticed that the twins in the picture looked exactly like himself!
