Has anyone tried QIJI series rubbers?
Could you compare to H3 or H3N?

I tried one, the softest version. Still hard and needed boosting. Grippy enough to lift the ball a second (if i pressed the bat to the ball on the table and then lifted the bat). To me it felt like it combined the worst parts of the chineese and japaneese rubbers :(. It felt rather hard and dead and did not generate lots of spin with abs-ball. The surface is not shiny like H3 but more matte like japanese. Perhaps itnwould need some more braking in but I did not want to waste more time on it. H3 is a lot better if you want sticky rubber.

H3 does not forgive any mistakes, I hate it and like it at the same time.

Thanks for the feedback. Could you tell me what blade did you use it on? As we know spin comes from the blade (at least I was taught so).

And from technique, I think. The rubber does play a role, too, I'm sure - how much of one is the question.

Qiji got mentioned at some point in the recent past - I think it was being touted as a rubber that never loses its tackiness. I'll have to go search.

Turns out the claim (to keep its tackiness) comes from the blurb on the packet. You know how reliable (or useful) THOSE are... :lol:

I tried it on a Stiga Carbonado 90, a rather fast blade with a thin carbon layer and a low throw. I usually have Xiom Omega VII Euro on FH, but I have tried H3 (boosted) also recently.
