Hello All respected members,
which is the best rubber for great spin with great control...speed can be average since i have viscaria blade to compensate for....
i am looking for my BH and FH.....i have tried tibhar mx-p and mx-s but both does not has that much of the control and i am not able to place the ball at the place where i want to place it due to it too much of the speed, i am finding it very difficult to keep ball on to the table while blocking or while full arm topspin.

From the internet reviews i am thinking of tibhar EVOLUTION fx-s, fx-p, el-s since i trust Tibhar....what are your views?

but i have a doubt that will they be like xiom vega pro?
i have tried vega pro previously but didn't like it due to insufficient spin and speed and it is not good in lifting the backspin even i find mx-s, mx-p easier to use than vega
pro...but now due to the high speed of the MX* rubber i am finding the very difficult to control and feel the ball and that's why want to change my rubber.
my only concern is that fx-s, fx-p, el-s are not similar to the vega pro...since i have tried vega pro and felt not suitable for my game [not sufficient spin and speed]

i am looking for a rubber which has spin can be < (mxp and mxs) [if it is more than it is good for me] but control >> [way more than, since i am finding it very difficult to keep ball on to the table while blocking or while full arm topspin](mxs, mxp) ....and speed is average since i have fast blade.

pretty expensive for my budget..
my concern is to find out fh and bh rubber which has spin can be < (mxp and mxs) [but if it is more than it is good for me] but control >> [way more than mxs and mxp, since i am finding it very difficult to keep ball on to the table while blocking or while full arm topspin with mxs, mxp]

but the rubbers should have sufficient spin and speed also.
that why i am trying to zero amond tibhar fx-s, el-s, el-p ...
please give your valuable comments

If you're stuck on the Evolution rubbers I would suggest looking at the reviews on tabletennis11.com. The only one I have ever tried was MX-P, and I had no control problems with it. The thing is.. there isn't just one or two rubber that will work, there's probably 2 or 3 dozen. Many of the rubbers you find on the market are more or less identical. Consider that if it says "made in Germany", there is only one factory making rubber in Germany. So just choose something with a little softer sponge, chances are it will work.

Or not. Consider that your problem might actually be the blade. It might be too fast for you. In which case ANY reasonable rubber might give you less control than you want.

(At this point I usually.. naah.. )

Hi, from a position of constructive criticism, I think you should focus more on technique than equipment at your current skill level.

Play more to get familiar with your equipment's response characteristics. Mxp and viscaria is fast, but not excessive, you will get used to it with time.

If you are blocking off past the table, close the angle. If you have trouble looping backspin, work on you full body swing (not just arm/wrist snap), start lower and brush harder. I have to loop backspin with short pips, you have no excuse!

Out of what you described, FX-P would be the most appropriate for you, beginners and advanced players like the control it has... and the spin.

I use Armstrong SH-I for that reason - great spin and control, not excessive speed.
However, it is not widely available, and it is not cheap.
Also, I may or may not be a respected member. ;)

A similar performing rubber is Tibhar Aurus Select.

'Better' is subjective. For me, Select is probably better for my game style.
As far as manufacturer ratings I tend to use them only as a rough comparative guide.

Also similar are Rakza 7 and Baracuda. Any of these would work, I think, just choose the cheapest one. There's probably a dozen more that can be named.

ok sir,
but why are you suggesting rakza 7 [ some people also suggest aurus], but not any soft or mediun soft rubber. But [rakza7/aurus/or other hard or medium hard rubbers] is suggested both does have the same hardness of mx-p
Rakza 7----46 degree
AURUS -----47.5 degree

EVOLUTION MX-P-----45.7 to 47.7 degree

and will not i have the same issue as with mx-p [hard to control in block and full topspin and too much of the catapult effect]...

and why are you not suggesting FX-S [other reviewer are also not in the same line as you are but I REALLY WONDER WHY?!! ]
EVOLUTION FX-S -------41 to 43 degree
not even suggesting EL-S
EVOLUTION EL-S ------- 43,8 to 45,8 degree

Aurus Select is 45 degrees but more importantly is not as fast and is therefore more controllable than any in the Evolution series. Tibhar describes it as an allrounder and it would likely assist with your control issues as might some of the slightly older gen rubbers mentioned like Rakza 7, Baracuda etc which don't have particularly high catapult or speed by todays standards.

agree!
but why not old generation soft rubbers like AURUS SOUND and Rakza 7 soft etc. to have maximum spin .
